Bricole is a project based in Gent, creating functional and decorative ceramics. Each limited series grows from a theme I am exploring, an interpretation of my curiosities. The pieces carry traces of my multicultural heritage and my practice as a multidisciplinary creative.

黎妙珍 Le Elodie

Born in Brussels with Vietnamese and Chinese roots, now based in Ghent. 
I first studied and worked in fashion, where I discovered my interest in design, textiles and colors. Over time, I specialized in accessories and jewelry which led me to work with a wider range of materials.

My love for hands-on craftmanship grew as I was exploring other forms of expression. Eventually, I discovered ceramics, and working with clay helped me embrace a slower pace and the beauty of the unexpected.

This journey began as a need to create, a way to articulate and hold my own experiences, my layered identity, and my emotions. It has since evolved into a project rooted in shared knowledge and connection through stories, fostering new and meaningful bonds.

I hope these pieces bring you as much comfort and resonance as they bring to me.
